This marvellous little book of New Zealand slang and colloquialisms is both informative and amusing.  It covers everything from slang to amusing synonyms to classic Kiwi sayings.  

It's written for a mature audience due to the style of humour and risqué content (you wouldn’t want it to end up at your kids kindy). 

Some of our favourites are 

Hangry - being so hungry it makes you angry

Neighbournet - Mooching off a neighbour's wireless internet connenction. The neighbournet is slower and dies randomly, but its free.

Lego Hair - A particularly shitty male haircut in which the sides cover the ears and the hair appears to be 'snap on.'

Hyberdating - Someone who ignores all their friends when they are dating someone.
